An Albatross is one of the best scores a player can make in the Mario Golf (series). A player can only get an Albatross on a 5 PAR hole; This is because an Albatross is four below PAR. The only score better than an Albatross is a Hole in One. Albatrosses are very hard to perform and usually require a character that can shoot the ball a great distance to perform them. Such as Petey Piranha.
In Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, the color of Albatross Best Badges are red.
Trivia
- On the course Blooper Bay, seagulls can be heard in the background, but Albatrosses are seen in flight. They are easily mistaken for seagulls because of the sounds in the background. It is likely these two Albatrosses have no connection.
