Template:Item-infobox A checkpoint[1] in Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World is an Aster flower with a face above an Arrow Sign. It initially appears to be asleep with its petals retracted and the arrow missing, but once the player passes through one, the face changes into a smiley, the arrow appears, and the petals unfold. In a similar vein to Checkpoint Rings in the Yoshi's Island games, checkpoints refill roughly a quarter of each Yoshi's Health Meter, as well as turning any onscreen enemies into hearts.
