- This article is about the Bomb in the Nintendo Comics System. For the Star Fox item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, see Smart Bomb.
Smart Bombs are red colored explosives created by the Koopa Troop that were featured in the Nintendo Comics System issue, "Duh Stoopid Bomb!".
The Smart Bombs are actually more chemical weapons then simple explosives, releasing an intelligence rising gas when they detonate.
When a Snifit accidentally breathed in the fumes of one, he became super-intelligent and usurped Bowser as king.
The production of Smart Bombs was seemingly ceased, as aside from "Duh Stoopid Bomb!", they made no other appearances in any issues of Nintendo Comics System.
