I'm not opposing, but I'm noticing the only supporter and therefore the creator the idea for the nomination has 'Yoshi' in his username.  Nothing personal but I just think Wayoshi nominated Yoshi because it is his favorite "character". {{User:Mariofan132/sig}}
 
Read the top. I know you didn't but still. Yoshi is thoroughly expanded and and explained, but... this isn't 100% determined on length. If thats true, I would've nominated [[Jump]]. I'm not opposing or supporting though.{{User:Knife/sig}}

Quotes aren't always necessary. Besides, I don't think Yoshi has ever said ''anything'' in English, barring SM64. This article has info on his appearances, his characteristics, and his abilities. "Yoshi" was nominated for featured article status at 00:52, 5 September 2007. If the nomination does not pass by 00:52, 4 November 2007, it will be considered failed.

"Yoshi" has met FA status requirements at 10:54, 7 September 2007, and it will become a featured article at 05:54, 14 September 2007 if unopposed.
