Banana Coins are currency used in the Donkey Kong series of games. They are yellow coins with a picture of a Banana Bunch on them. In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, they are used to buy things from several of the Kong.
In Donkey Kong 64, there are five different varieties. Each Kong used these coins to buy upgrades from Cranky Kong, Funky Kong, and Candy Kong.
They are set to return in DK Jungle Climber.
