Mort T. is a Toad living in Koopa Village; Mort T. runs the Toad House there and was charged with doing so by Princess Peach.
In Paper Mario, whenever Mario needed to rest in the Koopa Village Toad House, Mort T. would allow him too. Mario and Parakarry can also deliver a letter to Mort T. from his wife, whom Mort T. mentions he loves dearly; as a reward for delivering to him, Mort T. would give Mario a Star Piece.
