Chapter 8-2: The Crash

Storyline text

An endless labyrinth of mind-boggling turns and deadly enemies...

This final journey was more dangerous and trying than our heroes had seen before.

Mario and friends kept on without Bowser, who was lost in a duel

There was no time to stop and search for Bowser, or even grieve...

Our heroes knew they had to rush toward the final encounter with Count Bleck.

Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and the Pixls come here after trekking past the castle entrance and see Merlon who says that they should hit the blue ! Block nearby. However, it turns out to be Mimi in disguise as Merlon, and the block causes the heroes to fall down into a dungeon. The heroes eventually escape and once again reach Mimi, once again disguised as Merlee, who alters the appearance of the next three areas in the foyer, this time letting the player choose the appearance from three choices. She can even summon Francis who has to be fought if the player chooses him. Mario and co. reach a furious Mimi who refuses to do battle with anyone but Peach who defeats her soon after. After their fight, Peach and Mimi fall off a giant wall, and Mario and Luigi continue on to Castle Bleck Interior.
