Katsuya Yamano is a video game programmer and manager employed by Nintendo. First working as a programmer, Yamano was promoted to a manager role, supervising the later games of Nintendo R&D1 and the output of its successor, Nintendo SPD1.
Katsuya Yamano was promoted to manager of Nintendo SPD1 in 2012, replacing Yoshio Sakamoto after he was made deputy manager of the entire SPD group. Following Nintendo SPD's dissolution, his current role at Nintendo is unknown.
