Trivia

  • The Triforce and Egg Cups are the first Mario Kart cups to contain both Nitro and retro courses.
  • This is the first and only cup to feature a Rainbow Road course that is not the final race.
  • Along with the Egg Cup and Special Cup, none of the tracks in this cup feature any underwater sections.
  • The back of the Triforce Cup trophy states, in all capital letters, "PROFESSIONAL KART RACING DISTINGUISHED DRIVER". This is shared with the Egg Cup.
