The Stone Cap is an item in Paper Mario. It is a replica of Mario's hat, made completely out of stone. When Mario wears it, he gains the Stone status, transforming into a stone statue. Mario is invincible to any damage for a short time; however, he cannot attack while wearing the stone cap.
