List of Luigi sightings in Super Mario 3D World

This article is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it is being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.

In a similar vein to New Super Luigi U, 8-bit sprites of Luigi are hidden in every course of Super Mario 3D World.

World 1

Level Number	Level Name	Picture	Luigi Location
World 1-1	Super Bell Hill		After dropping out of the clear pipe near the halfway point, the player can visit a Sprixie with a pair of binoculars who show them the direction of the goal. Luigi can be seen far on the fence. However, Luigi disappears if players try to approach him for a closer look.
World 1-2	Koopa Troopa Cave		Luigi will appear on the pipe on the overworld icon for this stage. There is Luigi doing a squat dance in the bottom right corner; the camera may need to be changed.
World 1-3	Mount Beanpole		Players should meet a Sprixie with binoculars. Through the binoculars, there is a carving of 8-bit Luigi on part of the structure, hidden within the shadow of another tree.
World 1-4	Plessie's Plunging Falls		At the water's surface near the start of the level, there is an 8-bit Luigi floating on.
World 1-5	Switch Scramble Circus		At the first mirror at the start of the level, a Luigi can be seen in its reflection.
World 1-Castle	Bowser's Highway Showdown		A giant 8-bit Luigi can be seen strolling through in the background before disappearing into the water below.

World 2

World 2-1	Conkdor Canyon		After the checkpoint, at the bottom of the area ahead, past the shifting platforms, an 8-bit Luigi can be seen underneath.
World 2-2	Puffprod Peaks		An 8-bit Luigi can seen within the particle effect on the first platform after touching it with the Wii U Gamepad.
World 2-3	Shadow-Play Alley		Players should climb the wall at the start to see the shadow of an 8-bit Luigi in the top right corner.
World 2-4	Really Rolling Hills		An 8-bit Luigi will occasionally pop out of the pipe leading to the underground area.
World 2-5	Double Cherry Pass		At the right fence at the end of the level, there is an 8-bit Luigi hiding in one of the posts.
World 2-Castle	Bowser's Bullet Bill Brigade		After beating Boom Boom, players can find an 8-bit Luigi can be seen within the confetti.

World 3

World 3-Train	The Bullet Bill Express		At the end of the Bowser Train, an 8-bit Luigi can be seen outrunning the Bullet Bill Train.

World 5

World 5-4	Sprawling Savanna		After blasting out of the fifth cannon, players should go to the bottom right of the area, where an 8-bit Luigi can be seen painted into the grass.

World 6

World 6-5	Ty-Foo Flurries		Upon reaching a Sprixie with binoculars, players should go next to the Sprixie and face the camera right. A small 8-bit Luigi can be seen behind the fence where the Sprixie is.

World Bowser

World Bowser-5	Deepwater Dungeon		After riding Plessie, players should equip the cat suit and climb the front right wall and then climb the right wall. Then, players must jump over the small stone blocks until they reach the third block, where a crouching 8-bit Luigi can be seen.

Overworld Map

World 6		If players stand to the left of the Prince Bully Blockade level and rotate the camera so it faces towards the right, an 8-bit Luigi can be seen crouching in the water.

Other

Title Screen		An icon of Luigi will appear after Luigi Bros.has been unlocked.
Opening Scene		Three 8-bit Luigis are hidden within the item coming out of the Clear Pipe.
Ball minigame		In the ball minigame, sometimes, an 8-bit Luigi can appear on the ball.
Sprixie House		Luigi should move the birds near the window to see Luigi peeking through the window.
Question Blocks		An 8 bit Luigi will occasionally pop out of a ? Block.
Roulette Minigame		A Luigi sprite will appear for a spilt-second during the showering of coins after winning.
