“They're NOT DOLLS. They're ACTION FIGURES. WITH REAL FIRE-PUNCHING ACTION.”
Francis, Super Paper Mario

Francis is an enemy boss in the Wii video game Super Paper Mario. He is a nerdy butterfly/kitten-obsessed chameleon who is the main boss of World 3 in Bit Land. During the events that take place in World 3, Francis kidnaps Tippi, thus making Mario and team go after him. Once Mario enters his lair, he'll notice how much of a "geek" he is, seeing that he collects multiple different things ranging from obscure anime to video games. He also acts rude toward Princess Peach, calling her things such as "hot babe" and so forth. Around his lair Mario will find miniature little kitten-robot servants (Meowmaids) that do all of his chores. Before you fight him, you enter a dating sim game with Princess Peach. He overuses the phrase "nerrrr...." and "That's so HI-TECHNICAAAAAAAAAL!" and has no offline friends. His favorite website appears to be digibutter.nerr, a huge forum full of nerds and geeks of all sorts.

He attacks by camouflaging himself. Mario can see his shadow, however, when he flips dimensions. He can also call Meowbombs from the ceiling.

After beating the game, the player may purchase Tiptron from him for 999 coins. Evidently, it impressed his friends at digibutter.nerr so much that Francis recieved the "coveted" title of "Elite Nerr".

Trivia
