Play starts with each character controlling an extendable claw. A "Wanted!" poster is seen, which a picture of one of the following: Goomba, Bob-omb, Chain Chomp, Boo, Thwomp, or Shy Guy. Players must use their claw to grab three of the type of enemy seen on the Wanted! poster, who are hiding in various windows throughout the setting.
