A Time Hole is a magical hole found in the game Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time. When someone steps on a Time Hole he or she will be sucked into the Time Millennium and be transported from the present to the past (or vice versa).

Time Holes first appeared after Mario defeated the Junior Shrooboid. The Time Machine that Professor E. Gadd built made a Time Hole appear outside of Princess Peach's Castle. Mario, Luigi and E. Gadd went to look at it, but then Toadsworth came running in, pushing Luigi into the Time Hole. Mario had no choice but to Jump in and follow Luigi.
