He is the king of all Whomps. The Whomp King hates Mario and will try to fall on him. Just before he falls, run under his legs and Ground Pound his back. After three times the player will defeat this whomp win the star. He's at the top of Whomp's Fortress in Super Mario 64. He returned in Super Mario 64's remake Super Mario 64 DS. He is the only Super Mario 64 DS boss to not show up in Mario Kart DS

Trivia
- Interestingly, the Whomp King only wears a crown in Super Mario 64 DS. He looks like a regular giant Whomp in Super Mario 64.
