Yoshi Park 2 starts at the same place as Yoshi Park 1. However, instead of turning into the tunnel on the left after the first upward slope, the track turns to the right tunnel into the Trick House. Giant blue cogs circle around the entrance to the house. In here large pictures of [[Toad]], [[Toadette]] and [[Toadsworth]] can be seen, as well as a picture of a [[Super Mushroom]] and a [[Fire Flower]]. The Trick House includes features of a regular house, but different segments of it frequently spin around the track at high speeds. Neither the players nor the course is affected by this.

After exiting the Trick House more giant blue cogs circle around the track, and after a sharp turn to the left the players drive past the Castle of Cake and under a part of the course from Yoshi Park 1. There is a row of [[Item Box]]es and then a steep upward slope leading to the Horror House. As its name implies, it has a design similar to a haunted house, taking designs from [[Luigi's Mansion]] such as [[Boo]]s, [[Gold Ghost]]s and its relatives. The house itself has many cobwebs, old photo frames, and wooden walls and ceiling.

The racers then go outside of the house, but after a sharp right turn the track leads inside another haunted house, having nothing but a giant picture of [[King Boo]] inhaling many ghosts and the racers. The track leads into King Boo's mouth, and as it turns out it's actually a warp back to the starting line.
