He attacks by flying back and forth across the screen, occasionally swooping down at Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong. Wild Sting can be damaged from a Kong jumping onto it as it swoops. With each hit, Wild Sting moves around faster and less predictably. It only turns around after going off-screen. Wild Sting is defeated after taking seven hits.

Wild Sting attacks by flying back-and-forth across the screen, occasionally swooping down at Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong. During this, the Kong must jump onto Wild Sting to attack it. For each hit, Wild Sting moves around faster and in a less predictable pattern. It only turns around after going off-screen. Wild Sting gets defeated upon taking seven hits.

Wild Sting resembles the Flotsams from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest.
