'''Web Woods''' is the twenty-seventh level of ''[[Donkey Kong Land 2]]'' and the fifth and final normal level of [[Gloomy Gulch]]. It takes place in a forest where [[Diddy Kong]] and [[Dixie Kong]] have to be transformed into [[Squitter]] for a majority of the level, as his web platforms are required to cross very large gaps. The [[Kong]]s must go through a short part of the level themselves, where they encounter [[Neek]]s and [[Klomp]]s. [[Rope (ghost)|Rope]]s make their last appearance in the level.

Web Woods is called "Misty Woods" in the Japanese version, despite not featuring any mist, unlike its [[Web Woods (Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest)|the ''Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest'' equivalent]].

==Layout==

A straight path leading up to some stair-like structures is at the beginning of the level. Neeks march along the area. A completely flat piece of land is at the top of the stairs with a [[Banana Coin]] and a Klobber on it. If the heroes drop off of a ledge at the end of this path, they land on another flat piece of land with a Klobber on it. A small hill is behind this path with the letter K on it. Above an alcove containing a Neek, a ghost rope floats ahead of here that can be used to climb over a tall, thin hill. Another Neek marches in an alcove on the other side of the hill. A Klobber also waits on the higher area of land next to the alcove with a Neek following it. The Kongs can find another small alcove in the ground if they travel along more stair-like structures found nearby. A Klobber waits to attack to the right of the alcove.

A Kaboing hops on the top of a ledge next to the Klobber. Two Neeks and a [[treasure chest]] follow this hiding foe, and a raised piece of land is behind the chest with a Kruncha on it. Klomps stomp on a raised area of land to the right of here. At the end of the path here, a steep hill can be found that the Kongs must fall down to find an Animal Barrel. It transforms them into Squitter when entered, who must continue over a wide gap nearby with his webs. A Neek is on the other side of the gap, where a path can be found leading to a tall hill. The letter O is at the top of the hill. Using his webs, the spider must climb over the hill. On the other side of it, a Neek can be found in a small alcove. Two stair-like structures are ahead of here with Klomps stomping along them. A gap with a few Zingers moving in it follows here. After passing the gap, Squitter approaches the Kruncha and the Star Barrel.

Another Animal Barrel is ahead, while a DK Barrel is at the bottom of a few stairs. Two gaps are ahead, both of which contain a Zinger. A small platform found between the gaps holds a Kaboing. After another abyss, the spider comes up to a Neek on a flat piece of land. Small stair structures follow the enemy. They lead down to another flat pathway with a Neek on it. There is a raised piece of land behind the path with a Spiny on it. Squitter can find a large abyss ahead of here with Flitters and Zinger within it. [[Banana]]s are scattered above a piece of land after the gap. Another Zinger-infested gap is nearby, and once it is crossed, the arachnid reaches a platform with a small ledge on it. A DK Barrel wobbles next to the ledge just before an abyss full of Zingers. A trail of bananas leads the hero back to land on the other side of it. A path with a few small hills and Neeks along it is located farther ahead. An alcove with a Kaboing and the letter G in it follows. At this point, a tall hill blocks the spiders path, but he can use his webs to cross it. Another wide abyss is after the tall mound. As he crossed it, Zingers block his path and Flitters fly towards him. A piece of land with two [[Banana Bunch]]es and a Banana Coin on it stands at the opposite side of the pit with a Zinger next to it. The wasp floats in a small gap that can be crossed with a simple jump. A [[No Animal Sign]] stands after the gap, and it turns Squitter back into the Kongs when crossed. A spring is next to it. When the heroes bounce on it, the level is completed.

===Cranky's Video Game Hero Coin===
At the end of a long abyss near the end of the level, Squitter can find a group of bananas forming a down arrow. He should drop directly below the bananas to land on a small platform with the Video Game Hero Coin.

==Bonus Level==
*After passing the letter G, the spider must slide down a large ledge and jump to the right over some of a pit to find a [[Bonus Barrel]]. In its Bonus Level, Squitter must build his web platforms to cross another wide abyss. As he crosses, a few Zingers fly in his way. A Kremkoin waits on the other side of the abyss, but Squitter has only 20 seconds to grab it. If he runs out of time, falls into the pit, or touches any enemies, Squitter must restart the Bonus Level.
