I noticed you've been working on ''March of the Minis'' lately, so I wanted to ask you something about the game's level images. Is there a reason to keep the top screen? The top screens of those images all have basically the same content on them (the MINIMARIO cards, SCORE 000000, TIME BONUS: 300, etc.), with the only real relevant thing in them being the icons indicating the number of Mini-Marios present in a level, information that be can presented through a simple number on the level charts while taking up a lot less unnecessary space. : I kept the top screen for the level images for consistency with the images already uploaded for [[Spooky Attic]], as well as the images for levels from ''[[Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!]]'' The top screen doesn't add anything especially important in that game, either, but any existing level screenshots for both games already used the full resolution of the system, and I'd probably rather show the entire system anyway to be accurate to what the player sees during gameplay.<br>Alternatively, though, we could crop all of those screenshots to only the Touch Screen and display any relevant top screen information separately, including the Mini count and the objects in the inventory the player starts each level with. Instead of saying "Wario appears in x" say "In x game, Wario does this and this". It prevents repetitive writing and it also implicitly states Wario appeared in the game. == SMB3 NES palette ==

Hello, do you know if the images you are uploading are using the FCEUX or MESEN type of NES palettes? While it doesn't really matter for blank-and-white ones, for colored ones, MESEN is definitely preferable, since FCEUX settings tend to make the colors look really garish and wrong. A lot of the *really old* files that have not been replaced use the FCEUX palettes, particularly animations. For instance, in {{media link|Firebro.gif|this file}}, the old palette is FCEUX and the new one is MESEN. :I'm aware of the difference between the color palette of those emulators, which is why I've been using Mesen to take screenshots and isolate the sprites instead of FCEUX. Mesen has the palette which is more accurate to how the sprites are displayed on real hardware; plus, Mesen is the more accurate emulator in general anyway. If you want to continue where I left off, I've been taking screenshots with Mesen, isolating the sprites against a transparent background with [https://www.getpaint.net/ Paint.NET], and animating GIFs out of those sprites with [https://ezgif.com/maker ezgif.com]. :I took a screenshot of World 1-1 of ''Super Mario Bros. 3'' in both Nestopia and Mesen to compare their palettes directly, and they use almost exactly the same, hardware-accurate palette by default. Most of the colors' RGB values matched exactly between the emulators, and when there was a difference, it was only ever by a single unit. These are the colors that differed:
:*Dark green: RGB (13, 147, 0) on Nestopia, and (12, 147, 0) on Mesen.
:*Pink: RGB (255, 204, 197) on Nestopia, and (254, 204, 197) on Mesen.
:*White: RGB (255, 255, 255) on Nestopia, and (255, 254, 255) on Mesen.

I read your "italicizing merchandise" proposal, as here's what I think. According to the section "Apps and video games" on [https://www.grammarly.com/blog/italics/ Grammarly], titles of board games, card games, and other such games shouldn't be italicized. However, if the title of a video game, movie, or any other such thing is in the title of a tabletop game, I think only that part should be italicized (as I've done on articles such as [[Super Mario Labyrinth|''Super Mario'' Labyrinth]], [[Mario Kart Wii Grand Prix|''Mario Kart Wii'' Grand Prix]], and [[Jenga: Super Mario Edition|Jenga: ''Super Mario'' Edition]]), not the entire tabletop game.
