I was taking a break from working with my mods when I first saw it, and I couldn't believe my eyes nor what my mind comprehended when I clicked to see that edit. I really thought Pantaro was a troll or something, but how could trolls access bureaucrat's accounts, as it was posted under Walkazo's name? So I brought it up in Wiki chat and they pretty much confirmed that it was genuine and that Pantaro is her brother. I was going to give you a spiel about rolling up your sleeves and getting to work, but now that I've looked into it, the issue is a bit more complicated than that. The flags are appearing on pages through the use of [[Template:Released]], and they are called using the names of the files. For example, <nowiki>{{released|Japan|November 1, 2007}}</nowiki> would cause the Japanese flag to appear, as the name of the original image is [[:File:Flag of Japan.png|File:Flag of '''Japan'''.png]]. Since these names are going to be referenced often, they're named in such a way that they're convenient to reference, which is why it's [[:File:Flag of USA.png|Flag of USA.png]] and not "Flag of the United States of America.png". With that in mind, it may be best to keep the flags with their original names. Yes, the flag that we're using for "Europe" is really for the European Union, but we've still called it "Europe" because it's more convenient for editors, and those are the people who are going to be using it the most. If you had to type "Hong Kong" on dozens of pages, as you dreaded doing, you'd also prefer having a more convenient alternative, which is why the name of the file is "Flag of HK.png". Hey, I saw your message you left me. I honestly wasn't aware of that and just thought people weren't putting their Japanese names because they were being lazy. I only did that because I was trying to be as true to the Japanese names as possible. For example "Bowser Castle 2" IS technically called "Koopa Castle 2" in Japan. "Toad Turnpike" IS technically called "Kinopio Highway", not "Toad Highway". That was my logic is making those changes. 

Sorry for inconveniencing you. I was only trying to help and simply didn't know about this unspoken rule. I don't think you needed to get as mad as you did over my edits, as pointed out by the above post by Mario_jc. I also wouldn't say that "we all know" what Mario characters Japanese names are. And don't forget that other characters also have different names in languages other than English and Japanese/Korean/Chinese; Dry Bones for example is called "Huesitos" in Spanish-speaking regions, and "Knochentrocken" in German-speaking regions (don't forget that Austria and Switzerland also speak German too, and that this is also Austria's sole language!), so if one were to translate Bone-Dry Dunes' Spanish and German names (see the "Names in other languages" section of this track), then it would be called "Huesitos Dunes" and "Knochentrocken Dunes" respectively, regardless if people use these kinds of names or not. Same case with Shy Guy, Rosalina, and all other characters that have different names in different languages. So I saw that yesterday, you went around and removed "Controversies" sections on pages that featured, only giving the rather vague and uncompelling reason of "This doesn't belong here". As far as I can tell, this was not discussed anywhere, certainly not on the site's message board or discord server, and you did not start any talk discussion putting forth the idea before doing so. While our help page encourage users to "be bold", that's up to a point-if you're going to scrub substantial content that's been there for year, it's basic courtesy to talk about it first. 

The rationale provided is also blatant nonsense. If a page about a given game is going to feature sections about its real-world reception and sales, it makes sense to extend that to reactions people had to the game or character beyond "Did people like this game or not". Indeed most people would consider it quite unencyclopedic to not do so. 

Finally, another factor that's making me jump straight to a formal warning instead of an informal reminder is that you filled all of those removals as minor edits. Obviously, removing well over 1.000 bytes of content on any page is not a "minor" modification and it seems to me you did so in the hope people would overlook it. Hi Gold Luigi! I noticed that you've been spreading the idea that DS Cheep Cheep Beach doesn't have new music across the Mario Kart 8-related articles and doubling down upon edits, which doesn't accurately represent its soundtrack. For example, the instrumentation has been updated to resemble those in live bands (Presumably Live Recorded by the Mario Kart Band, though I can't explicitly prove that haha), a new funk guitar line panned to the right has been added in the C section, and the countermelody created by the string section has been slightly altered. Further, the original makes use of the Mario Kart DS Soundfont, while the remix in 8 has no trace of it. Though it has not been drastically changed, in my eyes it still constitutes an overhaul for those reasons.

For example, 3DS Neo Bowser City has an additional electric guitar at around the middle of the music, as does Wii Mushroom Gorge for the most part, albeit much less noticeably due to how drowned down it sounds compared to the rest of the music. As for 3DS DK Jungle and Wii Grumble Volcano, while nearly the same as their original versions, also have their own enhancements in order to make them sound more "orchestreated". Sure, DS Cheep Cheep Beach's music might be the most orchestrated of the others, but in the end, I find it essentially an enhanced version of the original DS music that was done in order to fit in with the rest of Mario Kart 8's orchestrated soundtrack, just like the other few courses I mentioned. I checked the samples of the soundtracks for each of these courses and they all sound considerably overhauled versions of their original music (though SNES Mario Circuit 3's musical overhaul is kinda ruined with the included SNES sample, not gonna lie). I thought DS Cheep Cheep Beach's music sounded nearly identical to the original version, but I guess all those sound effects and voice clips during gameplay sessions really drowned down the music for me. Add the fact that I never listened the course's music alone in the past as well as that I barely use Mario Kart TV (where it has the option to remove the sound effects and voices but keep the music only), and I eventually find out what I really missed from the course's new and improved music all those years. Without any more doubt, you can freely remove DS Cheep Cheep Beach from the list of courses with ''slightly'' overhauled music, without adding any of the other courses you mentioned.
