Hello! My username is Yook Bab-imba, and I've been also known here as MegaKoopa (until December 2014) and Shiny K-Troopa (until May 2023). I am a guy in his 20s, born and living in Brazil. As for my username, it's just a reference to this fun fact:
Miyamoto stated that they considered naming him [Bowser] either kuppa (국밥), yukke (육회), or bibinba (비빔밥), which are all Korean dishes as they are known in Japanese. In the end, "Kuppa" was chosen.
I've been a Mario fan since I was a kid, playing all the games I could on my bootleg NES and then on my PS2. I'm not really willing to pay for consoles and games at this point, so I am a fan of modern Mario entirely in concept. Still, this wiki was a big part of my English learning journey, and I hold it dearly.
Other game series I am pretty into are Katamari and Rhythm Heaven. I'm also a Flash game enthusiast.
My projects on Super Mario Wiki
I usually make smaller edits, but sometimes I just see an article that makes me wanna go all out and make it appealing. These are the articles that I made a big effort to improve:
- List of WarioWare: Touched! microgames — Uploaded all microgame icons and incorporated them to the page.
- New Super Mario Bros. 2 — Made the tables more compact and organized the enemy list.
- Yoshi's Crafted World — Reorganized info and edited the tables to make them more compact and elegant.
- List of WarioWare: Get It Together! microgames — Made the tables more balanced in color and size of images.
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door — General revisions, adding missing info and reformatting tables.
A pet peeve of mine is wonky tables. Some tables look too bloated with immense images, uneven text and lots of empty space; some have clashing colors (though I love colorful tables!); some look too basic. I think tables are the first thing that makes a page look balanced and elegant, or sort of a mishmash. I really try to make them elegant-looking, and I hope it's working out.
