The article doesn't define it very well. It seems to say it's merely a mechanism to slow falls. But it fails to mention Baby Peach's floating abilities in ''Yoshi's Island DS'', the Parasol from ''Super Smash Bros. Melee'' as well as arguably the Tanooki Leaf from ''Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS'', which would mean omitting the part where it says "it is used only by six characters". There's no mention of the Tanooki/Racoon, Cape, or Propeller form offering a slower descent, but there is talk about the Mini Mushroom. There's also a weird mention Luiginary Speedometer which doesn't seem like a floaty jump, only time manipulation that can let Mario jump further. Oh, and there's no mention of stage gimmicks that allow for floatier jumps like in the Moon Kingdom in ''Super Mario Odyssey'' and the flying part of the Pokemon stage in ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'' nor the light mode in ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'' and ''Super Smash Bros. Melee''. Before I go on more, how should this page be defined? We can limit it to a triggered ability, though that'll still leave out the powerups and the Parasol item, and I can't say if the Mini form is a triggered ability. We might need another proposal, who knows, but yeah, I think definitions need to be clear first, which this page fails at doing. {{User:Bazooka Mario/sig}} 15:12, 28 July 2018 (EDT) | The article doesn't define it very well. :I think the only course of action that would be possible here would be to only cover the move as it is used by Peach. The rest of the examples seem too generic to fit in the article. {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 10:20, 30 July 2018 (EDT) | :I think the only course of action that would be possible here would be to only cover the move as it is used by Peach. ::If the name is given only to Peach, then it's an easy scrub. I think, though, we should keep brief mentions of other jumps that slow descent, but this article deals primarily with Peach's move. If it's called "Floaty Jump" when it deals other characters, then... {{User:Bazooka Mario/sig}} 15:22, 30 July 2018 (EDT) | ::If the name is given only to Peach, then it's an easy scrub.
