Some recent edits add that Diddy Kong 'co-owns' DK's Tree House as well, but has this ever been confirmed in any official media? The closest mention I can think of is that the story section of the ''Diddy Kong Racing'' manual refers to "his tree house" (which we see the exterior of in-game in ''Diddy Kong Racing DS''), but for all we know, that could be an entirely separate tree house. As far as I'm aware, Diddy is just seen hanging out at DK's Tree House, but he doesn't seem to actually live there. The ''Donkey Kong Country 3'' manual even brings up "Diddy's room", which doesn't sound like it's describing the interior of DK's place. We haven't had a good look at all of the Kongs' dwellings, after all.
