**{{SSBU|Kirby}} has been given two new [[copy ability|copy abilities]], one each for Pyra and Mythra, in which he gains the respective fighter's hair and his [[neutral special]] is replaced with the respective fighter's [[Flame Nova]] or [[Lightning Buster]].
**The Techniques menu has been updated with five new sections for "[[Swap|Pyra and Mythra]]", "Flare Slash / [[Foresight]]", "[[Flame Nova]] / [[Lightning Buster]]", "[[Blazing End]]", and "[[Ray of Punishment / Chroma Dust]]". They are the 107th, 108th, 109th, 110th, and 111th options.
**Four new Smash Tag icons have been added, both relating to Pyra and Mythra: their original outfits and their "Pneuma" outfits.
**Added support for the [[Banjo & Kazooie]], [[Terry]] and [[Byleth]] [[amiibo]].
**Added support for all future [[Link]] amiibo, which now register as Link [[Figure Player]]s. This includes the later released Link - Tears of the Kingdom amiibo from {{uv|The Legend of Zelda}} series.
**Added support for Super Nintendo World's [[Toad]] Power-Up Band amiibo, which now awards players with the Toad spirit.
