Stampede Sprint is the thirty-sixth level in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and the first level of Krematoa. In the Game Boy Advance remake, due to the inclusion of Pacifica, Stampede Sprint is instead the forty-second level. Stampede Sprint is the last jungle level, and Dixie and Kiddy play as Ellie for a majority of the level. An animal crate of Parry is nearby, and Parry can help collecting items in midair such as bananas and bear coins. Squawks and Squitter briefly appear in two respective Bonus Levels at the start. After blasting to the next platform, Ellie encounters three Sneeks, causing her to freak out and run across the level uncontrollably. During this, the player cannot control her movement except for her jumps. Due to her fast movements, Ellie has little time to anticipate incoming enemies or obstacles, but she still has to jump over pitfalls and enemies along the way. Buzzes are usually out of reach but still harm Parry upon contact. If Parry crosses the No Animal Sign at the end, it turns into a one-chance Bonus Barrel. Similarly, if Ellie passes her No Animal Sign, she transforms into a Steel Barrel, which is needed to defeat Koin beyond the Level Flag.
Stampede Sprint is the thirty-sixth level in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! It is also the first area of Krematoa. In the game's Game Boy Advance remake, it is instead the forty-second level of the game.

The level starts with a DK Barrel hovering in midair. With both Kongs in play, Dixie must take the lead and use her Helicopter Spin to glide across a large abyss. On the other side of the gap, they land into an Animal Barrel, which turns them into Ellie the Elephant. After this, the elephant will need to hit a crate with Parry the Parallel Bird to free him. Once this is done, she jumps into a nearby barrel and blasts over a gap to the next part of the level. There, she meets a group of three Sneeks, who frighten her, causing the elephant to run. Ellie automatically runs through the level, passing some enemies, such as Bristles, and crossing gaps. The elephant makes her way over many, many more obstacles at high speed, eventually meeting Kuff 'n' Klouts running towards her. After crossing several gaps, she heads under some Buzzes and over a few other enemies to find the letter N. Farther on, Ellie travels over several more Kuff 'n' Klouts. After that, she runs through an area full of Bristles as she moves under Buzzes. Once she passes a few more Kuff 'n' Klouts, she finds the letter G and hop into another barrel. It blasts her to a safe area. If Parry is still safe, she turns into a Bonus Barrel. Farther on, the Kongs pass a No Animal Sign and turn back into the Kongs. The Kongs then reach the Level Flag and gain the first cog.

Enemies
This is the last jungle level of the game, and for most of it, the Kongs play as Ellie the Elephant. Near Ellie's barrel is Parry the Parallel Bird, who needs to be guided through the level. Once the Kongs turn into Ellie, the elephant comes across three Sneeks, who send her running across the level out of control. If the player can guide Ellie, as well as Parry to the end of the level without dying, the No Animal Sign turns the bird into a one-chance Bonus Barrel. Squawks and Squitter make a brief appearance as well. In addition to the Sneeks, enemies here include Bristles, Buzzes, Kuff 'n' Klout (in their debut), and Krimps.
The following enemies appear in the following quantities, and enemies marked in bold make their level debut:

*As soon as the level begins, Kiddy Kong can use his Team-up move and throw a Dixie Kong into the above hidden Bonus Barrel. The barrel takes them to a Bonus Level, where they turn into Squitter and use webs platforms to collect green bananas over a small abyss. Once enough green bananas are collected, a Bonus Coin appears at the other end of the gap.

*Just before the level's first DK Barrel, the Kongs can use their Team-up move again and throw the other character into the above hidden Bonus Barrel. Once they are taken to a Bonus Level with it, they have to ride on Squawks after breaking his crate. They then need to control the parrot to grab several green bananas around two red Buzzes. After enough bananas are obtained, a Bonus Coin appears nearby.
K-O-N-G Letters
*After the group makes their way past the No Animal Sign for Parry, the bird turns into a Bonus Barrel. Ellie the Elephant can get in the barrel and enter a Bonus Level. There, she needs to collect many green bananas. Many of these bananas are too high to reach, so she needs the help of Parry to get them. Once enough green bananas are collected, a Bonus Coin will appear.
*K: Rewarded if Squitter crosses his No Animal Sign, after the first Bonus Level
*O: Shortly after the group of three Sneeks
*N: After the second DK Barrel
*G: Before the second Blast Barrel

*At the end of the level, Ellie crosses the No Animal Sign to turn herself back into the Kongs. Ellie then transforms into a steel barrel. The Kongs can use the barrel to defeat the nearby Koin past the flagpole.
At the end of the level, Ellie crosses the No Animal Sign to turn herself back into the Kongs. Ellie then transforms into a Steel Barrel. The Kongs must jump and throw the Steel Barrel over the nearby Koin for it to rebound off the wall to the right and hit it in the back. The Koin is defeated and the Kongs are rewarded the DK Coin.

Bonus Levels
Stampede Sprint has three Bonus Levels, listed by type:
*Grab 15 Bananas!: At the very start of the level, Kiddy must perform team up and throw Dixie above into the hidden Bonus Barrel. In the Bonus Level, the Kongs are transformed into Squitter, who must use his web platforms to collect 15 green bananas over a small abyss within 45 seconds (or 40 in the remake). After the Kongs collect all of the green bananas, a Bonus Coin appears at the other end. A No Animal Sign for Squitter is just outside the Bonus Level.
*Grab 15 Bananas!: Just before the first DK Barrel, Kiddy can perform team up and throw Dixie into the hidden Bonus Barrel above. In the Bonus Level, the Kongs must break Squawks's Animal Crate and ride him. They have 45 seconds to collect 15 green bananas around two red Buzzes. After the Kongs collect the bananas, a Bonus Coin appears. A No Animal Sign for Squawks is just outside the Bonus Level.
*Grab 15 Bananas!: After Ellie passes the No Animal Sign for Parry, it turns into a Bonus Barrel. Ellie has a single chance to complete the Bonus Level challenge within. Like the first and second Bonus Levels, the objective also involves collecting 15 green bananas, though in a 40-second time limit (or 25 in the remake). Parry briefly returns in the Bonus Level to help Ellie collect the green bananas. After the Kongs collect enough green bananas, the Bonus Coin appears.

*The Super Nintendo version of Stampede Sprint features the normal "Hot Pursuit" music for the entire stage, while the Game Boy Advance version features its own music for the rushing Ellie part of the level (which is also heard when the Banana Bird Queen is chasing King K. Rool in the alternative ending of the game), and uses the normal "Jungle Jitter" theme at the beginning and end.
