Mole Guards' first and most prominent appearance is in [[Bombs Away (level)|Bombs Away]], where one rides on a separate track and attacks by throwing bombs into the [[Kong]]s' track (rather than at the Kongs directly), thus destroying parts of it. The Mole Guard eventually tries to hurl a giant bomb at the track in the foreground, but crashes into a wall before it can do so.
