The player controls {{wp|Icarus}} as he flies over a river. The player must avoid thorns and other flying creatures along the way. Hitting any of them will result in damage but falling into the river will result in an instant failure. The player can collect hearts to replenish any lost health. At some points in the game, there are wind tunnels which provide a speed boost. The player wins once Icarus lands on a rock platform. If the player runs out of health, the game is lost.
