Early model?

Is this really a model for an early Gnawty? From what I remember in the final game, there is a mechanic that if something is too far away from the camera, it will use a lower-poly version of its model, just like in Super Mario 64. The model was even removed from TCRF a long time ago, so should we really keep this image on MarioWiki's DK64 pre-release page? --Metalex123 (talk) 20:19, October 23, 2019 (EDT)
