The Double Tusks are the fourth and fifth Tusks in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They are the co-rulers of the Chili Pepper Kingdom in the original version, and the Lychee Kingdom in the New Play Control! version. One appears very similar to Grave Tusk and Torch Tusk, and the other has a new appearance, being a pink camouflage in color. These Tusks attack very similarly to the past Tusks, but split their HP between themselves, each having 250 HP rather than the usual 500 HP per boss.
These Tusks attack very similarly to the past Tusks, but split their HP between themselves, each having 250 instead of a single boss with 500 HP. Additionally, rather than getting angry when reaching a set amount of HP, they become angry when the other one is defeated.

The Double Tusks attack simultaneously, by shooting cannonballs at Donkey Kong. Like other Tusks, the Double Tusks use their trunk as a vacuum, and Donkey Kong must pick up a nearby Blood Pine and throw it in its trunk to attack it. This exposes the Double Tusk's heart, which Donkey Kong can throw more Blood Pines on to attack.
However, because there are two Tusks, both attack simultaneously, complicating the battle. However, they are both able to be defeated in the way the other Tusks are defeated, and when one is attacked like this, the other attacks without it once, waiting for the other before it attacks again.

Unlike most bosses, Double Tusks do not become angrier when their HP is low but rather when its partner is defeated. When this occurs, the other Double Tusk gains the laser attack and fiery cannonballs used by Torch Tusk. The attacks differ between the last Tusk remaining; while the brown one only attacks with the flaming cannonballs, the pink camouflage one attacks with both flaming and normal cannonballs. Additionally, the brown Tusk also attacks with the laser twice, once normally and then in reverse.

Like with the other Tusks, Donkey Kong must fight them using Blood Pines. Once one Tusk is defeated, the other one is left to fight alone, but it gains the laser attack and fiery cannonballs used by Torch Tusk, making the battle remain difficult if it still has significant HP left. The attacks also differ between the one that is remaining; while the brown one only attacks with the flaming cannonballs, the pink camouflage one attacks with both flaming and normal cannonballs. Additionally, the brown Tusk also attacks with the laser twice, once normally, then in reverse.

*The trophy of Turret Tusk in Super Smash Bros. Brawl actually depicts the plain Double Tusk instead of Turret Tusk.
*The trophy of Turret Tusk in Super Smash Bros. Brawl actually depicts one of the Double Tusks (the plain one) instead of Turret Tusk. Since Turret Tusk and the Tusks as a whole have the same basic Japanese name, it may have been intended to represent Tusks in general and been lost in translation.
