Da Vine Climb is a Donkey Kong minigame found in Mario Party 5. The name is a play on "divine climb."

Gameplay
This is one of the three Donkey Kong mini-games. It consists of climbing vines and collecting bananas in the process. The main obstacle are the several spiders located in the vines. Making contact with a spider will temporarily stun the player. Since the game is only ten seconds long, this is a great disadvantage.
This minigame consists of climbing vines and collecting bananas within a ten-second limit. Each banana awards the player one, two, or three coins, while Banana Bunches award the player five, ten, or fifteen coins. The main obstacle is the several spiders located in the vines. Spiders stun players for a few seconds, and this subtracts from most of their minigame time. Any player who has collected at least one banana wins the minigame.

The background features a wooden treetop house, which belongs to Donkey Kong. He can be seen climbing a ladder and pounding his chest after he reaches the tree house's balcony. Da Vine Climb takes place in a jungle, which is a staple for Donkey Kong minigames.
Like all Donkey Kong mini-games, this is a coin-collecting mini-game. Each small banana awards one, two, or three coins, while banana bunches awards the player five, ten, or fifteen coins.

Ending
The background features a treetop wooden house, which belongs to Donkey Kong. He can be seen climbing a ladder and dancing or doing some kind of gesture on the house's balcony when he gets there. The whole mini-game takes place in a jungle, a taple for DK mini-games.
The players who collected bananas celebrate with Donkey Kong. Anyone who did not collect any bananas instead performs their losing pose. If no one collected any bananas, Donkey Kong will also look dejected.
