Game(s) Donkey Kong Country 3 (Game Boy Advance)

Cranky's Dojo is a location in the Northern Kremisphere hosted by Cranky Kong, and it only appears in the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3.

Cranky's Dojo supersedes every Wrinkly's Save Cave from the original release except the one adjacent to Funky's Rentals, which was replaced with Wrinkly's Retreat.

Cranky's Dojo, selected from the minigame menu.

On their first entry, Dixie and Kiddy are greeted by Cranky. He needs assistance for his upcoming game "Cranky Kong Country". For a small fee of one Bear Coin (two for subsequent visits), the player controls Cranky and must shield him from an onslaught of 30 small, curled up Bristles. Bristles come from the left and right sides of the screen and different angle variations; up, down, or straight. Some Bristles can ricochet as well. If Cranky gets hit by a Bristles, he falls over, and the player loses the minigame.

When the mini-game ends, the Kongs are awarded a variety of prizes from Cranky: Bear Coins, Bananas, Extra Life Balloons. The prizes vary based on their performance. Cranky gives them a Banana Bird if they manage to win the minigame for the first time.

If the player enters "EXTRAS" in the game's Cheats menu, he or she unlocks the option to replay Cranky's Dojo (along with Swanky's Dash, and Funky's Rentals) from the main menu. Like with Swanky's Dash, the player can select between the relevant world's Cranky's Dojo challenge, all of which are identical.
