A cake baked by Chef Torte and his apprentice is a boss in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its remake. It was baked for Booster and Princess Peach's wedding ceremony. However, after Mario and Bowser interrupt the wedding and rescue Peach, the angered Tortes attack Mario and his allies.

During this fight, the cake is the only object that can be damaged. After taking several hits, the cake starts to move. The apprentice tells Chef Torte, who ignores him. When the cake moves a second time, the Tortes retreat, and all five of the cake's candles light up. The cake's top and bottom layers, referred to as Bundt and Raspberry respectively, attack independently from each other, but only Bundt can be attacked at first. Bundt can only be defeated by hitting it with a physical attack once all five candles are extinguished. One candle is put out whenever Bundt is hit with a physical attack. However, Bundt can relight one candle each time it attacks. After being defeated, Bundt disappears, allowing Raspberry to be damaged. Once Raspberry's HP is depleted, Booster orders his Snifsters to take it and help him eat it up, ending the battle and Princess Peach's wedding.
Bundt is an oversized living wedding cake found in the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Chef Torte and his apprentice have baked a cake for Booster and Princess Peach's wedding ceremony. However, Mario interrupts the wedding and rescues Peach, angering Chef Torte. Chef Torte and his apprentice then attack Mario and his allies. During this fight, Bundt is the only object that can be damaged. After taking several hits, Bundt starts to move. Chef Torte's apprentice tells his master this, but Chef Torte ignores him. When Bundt moves a second time, Chef Torte and his apprentice retreat. Meanwhile, Mario and his allies must defeat Bundt by extinguishing all five of Bundt's candles with physical attacks before hitting Bundt itself. Bundt can relight one candle each time it attacks, however, and it can attack multiple times in one turn. After being defeated, Bundt's top layers disappear, leaving the base layer, Raspberry, to fight Mario.

In the remake, the cake can be refought after defeating Smithy. During the battle, the Tortes light at least two of the cake's candles each turn, and the cake must be attacked with physical attacks to extinguish the candles. If all five candles are lit, the cake uses Celebration Shot, which deals 9999 damage to all active party members.

*On the field, the cake only has one layer, which seems to be its middle layer in battle. This is changed in the remake; the entire cake is now shown out of battle.
*Bundt is named after a bundt cake, despite it being a wedding cake rather than a bundt cake.
*On the field, Bundt only has one layer, which seems to be its middle layer in battle.
*Bundt's "candle" has separate stats internally, but only Bundt itself is targeted. Both the Shogakukan and Nintendo Power guides mention the candle as a boss enemy as well.

*In the original Japanese iteration, Raspberry's name is thematic with Bundt's, as it is in turn called "Strawberry." However, as its name was changed in localization, the naming connection was lost.
