Cap Block
The SM64 / SM64DS section on ! Block suggests that the article be split into "! Block" and "Cap Block." I created an article for Cap Block, but 7feetunder reverted my edits because the split wasn't discussed. Do you think an article for Cap Block should be made? There's a typo on MarioWiki:Categories. At the end of the Overview section, "Koopa" is spelled with a lowercase "k".

Hot Wheels page
Hello! Before starting a revert war I have to ask, is there a wiki policy pertaining merchandise? I can see that most articles about merchandise don't include a "one in package and one open" gallery so I don't see why this should apply too specially since there are not good quality images of everything on the web and no one else is helping to add photos of their own. - As far as I'm aware there's not a specific policy for that, however there is precedent to have both images, such as Gallery:amiibo and other items on the Hot Wheels page. Personally I think in this specific case, it's good to have both images to provide a clear picture of the product. Since these are fairly recent products it shouldn't be too difficult to find high-quality images of them, online storefronts can be a good place to look. -- Too Bad! - Exactly, the amiibo Mainspace page and the Gallery:amiibo are two different pages that cover different aspects. In this case the first shows the toys Out of Box while the latter is for OoB and IB. The Hot Wheels page should be more akin to the amiibo page for general information, available images and lists. A new page Gallery:Hot Wheels can be created to add both options, but not the mainspace one. The other items on the Hot Wheels page that appear with both were added by you since 2019 and there hasn't been any clear intention of adding the rest by you or anyone else for the other lines besides the Character cars very recently. - The amiibo article may be an outlier, but the principle is still the same. Hot Wheels (like most other merchandise-based articles such as San-ei Co., Ltd. and K'NEX) isn't split between an article and a separate gallery, it's more of a hybrid page. You could propose it, but there's no reason to split off into a separate gallery in my opinion, because there's just not enough information about the merchandise line by itself to warrant separate pages for the information and the images. -- Too Bad! - My point was not to create the Gallery. As you well said amiibo is the outlier, the rest of the merchandise pages don't have a need for both OoB and IB. In this similar vein the images IB show the product well enough, the issue is that the Gallery tabs reduce the size of the image and it seems to not be clear enough to exemplify the products altough when clicking on every image gives the detail I think you'd like to be added to the page. The other point I'm raising is that the fact that someone adds a "Nocoverart.png" to a Gallery should only be done when no other image exists at all that exmplifies the object or subject. In this case there was a IB image for most, if another user has or can add a second image with different details it should be done after uploading them, not as placeholders with no particular intention from the user or others to add them in a not specified future. Also, if a group picture exemplifies all the products and there doesn't seem to be individual images, why not leave the group photo? MariusM (talk) 18:33, January 3, 2022 (EST)

The formatting you had under the 8-Car Series section with the group photo and the gallery removed isn't really the kind of formatting that works well on a wiki either, I'm afraid.
