The zone consists of four levels, including the boss's level inside a whale and a secret level from the submarine to the second floating island. Mario needs to be tiny in order to access the secret area inside the submarine. Notably, the special world has a series of coins spelling "Mario Land 2", but Wario appears to have flipped the "M" upside down. Once Mario clears the special stage in this zone, the Whale will awaken and blink its eyes rapidly as if trying to go back to sleep.
