- Lemmy's trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS depicts his Junior Clown Car with an orange trim and propeller (pictured) rather than its usual yellow.
- The Japanese names for Lakitu and Spiny Eggs are both derived from the Japanese folktale Jugemu.
