- In New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Mini Pandas are retextured to be entirely blue (pictured).
- The Koopalings were modeled after the design team of Super Mario Bros. 3.
- 75 m and Temple are the only returning stages in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U not to appear in the Classic and All-Star modes.
- In Mario Party 4, the player is able to manually choose the direction they go at Ukiki's Banana Peel Junction on Koopa's Seaside Soiree if they are wearing a Bowser Suit.
