:It is not an exception; this enemy is certainly different. Whereas Puftups with a single "f" literally blow up and toss their spikes, Pufftups only inflate themselves. However, I wouldn't be surprised to find out the enemy's name is a homage to the original Puftup. I greatly encourage Retro to do that more! -- {{User:Super Radio/Sig}} 05:56, 23 January 2016 (EST)

I know that Retro doesn't usually use Rare's Donkey Kong enemies, but could this be an exception? I know the spelling is different but you could argue that this is a Gannon/Ganon type of situation. ~~

It is not an exception; this enemy is certainly different. Whereas Puftups with a single "f" literally blow up and toss their spikes, Pufftups only inflate themselves. However, I wouldn't be surprised to find out the enemy's name is a reference to the original Puftup. I greatly encourage Retro to do that more! -- -- KOOPA CON CARNE 05:56, 23 January 2016 (EST)
