The Pokemon Trainer highly resembles Ash, I know he wasn't the Pokemon trainer, but I thought it was a necessary Redirect in case Ash was mistaken as the trainer.

Highly resembles? I'm sorry, but I don't see much of a resemblance, aside from the standard traits shared by most Pokemon protagonists. GreenDisaster 13:04, 20 May 2012 (EDT)

ALL my friends took him for Ash so I see this as necessary. Otherwise, I'd scold all the few (but there aren't only a few) that take him as Ash.

I could see someone getting confused and thinking it was Ash but I don't think very many people would. Raven Effect (talk)
The hair color is different, the eye color is different, and both the style and color of clothing are different. This isn't Ash. Therefore, there's no reason to have a redirect to the trainer called such. Mario4Ever (talk)
