Spy Guys are Shy Guys who are dressed in camouflage gear and wear leaves on their head. They can attack Mario weith either a slingshot or hammer. If Mario gets hit by the hammer he loses one of his action commands. Spy Guy first showed up in Paper Mario.

Shy Ranger from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars looks a bit like Spy Guy.
