Template:Minigame-infobox Spotlight Swim is a 1-vs-3 minigame found in Mario Party 3.

Gameplay

Three players have to shine their respective red, blue, and green spotlights on the individual player at once. The single player is capable of submerging in the pool, helping prevent detection. However, the player has to resurface every once in a while to breathe, at which point they cannot move. Additionally, upon submerging, bubbles can be seen above the player, indicating for a short time their position. If the player manages to avoid the three players' spotlights, a Lakitu arrives with a ladder and picks them up, carrying them off, and they win. If the three players catch the solo player with all the spotlights together, the solo player has a cage dropped on them and the team wins.

The computer players will all scatter their lights when the individual player dives, no matter their difficulty setting.
