The Slider Shot is an offensive power shot in Mario Tennis: Power Tour, and is a more powerful versionof the Curve Shot. It is used by Flit and Mel in the story mode, and can be unlocked for usage on the player character by having a PS Spin stat of 3. The background will turn purple, and the user will begin spinning at a great speed, while travelling towards the ball. When the user hits the ball, it will be sent on a trajectory with high side spin, curving around opponents. If the opponent returns this shot, they will be surrounded by a tornado, and will be limited in control over their movement, mostly bumbling around aimlessly.
