They appear in only three [[level]]s: [[Cakewalk Flip]], [[Rainbow Run (level)|Rainbow Run]], and [[Champion's Road]]. When the player ventures near one of these enemies, they blast either square or circular plasma rings outward from their centers. They have the same insignia commonly found on [[Bill Blaster]]s and closely resemble the earlier [[Ball Beamer]]s, [[Ring Beamer]]s, and [[Spring Vault]]s from ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]'' and ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]'' in both appearance and function. As with [[Sentry Beam]]s, Ring Burners can be disabled as long as the player stands on one. They cannot be destroyed by any means.
