Pyro Guy
Template:PM1enemy Pyro Guys, originally called Flamer Guys, are Shy Guys that have somehow caught fire. They first appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. If Yoshi ate one, he could breathe three shots of fire. The Pyro Guys could run faster than normal Shy Guys.
Pyro Guy later appeared in Tetris Attack as a certain Gargantua Blargg's partner.
Pyro Guys appeared again in Paper Mario. They are twice as fast as normal Shy Guys and dealt more damage per attack. Pyro Guys are also weak against ice attacks. Additionally, explosive attacks, such as Bombette's Bomb attack, could easily defeat a squad of Pyro Guys.
Pyro Guys reappears in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again. Pyro Guys appear without feet. Their are different colors of Pyro Guys, red, blue, and yellow. Mini Marios step on a switch according what color, they turn into blocks.They appear in Room 4-5 and 4-Key. Mini Marios touch one would get burned and be defeated. Pyro Guys cannot be defeated. - The name "Pyro" derives from the Greek word for "fire".
- An enemy similar to the Pyro Guys are the Blazing Shroobs, from the game Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.
