Penguin
Penguins were first seen in Super Mario 64, in the level, Cool Cool Mountain. In the game, a penguin lost her baby Tuxie and puts Mario to find her. Mario finds her and is awarded with a Power Star. Also, later Mario has to race down a long icy slide, and get to the finish line before a penguin does. If Mario wins he will be awarded with a Power Star.
Also in Snowman's Land, there's a Penguin on the bridge leading to the top of the giant snowman. The Penguin will confuse Mario for a spider, and will try to knock him down with the help of the giant snowman. The giant snowman The Penguin If Mario touches the air he will fall down the snowman, losing his cap. To pass Mario has sneak behind the Penguin as it is waddling arround.
Penguins also appear in a Mario Party 5 mini-game.
The Penguins appear in the Mario Party series and Mario Kart Series. They are not to be confused with Bumptys, who are shorter and smaller.
