An Octo-blooper is a boss from the Gameboy game Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.
The Octo-blooper is either a relative of the normal blooper or it may even be a primitive form of a blooper. However, more likely it is a monsterous Octo rather than a blooper.
It is dangerous because of its size and that it shoots Octo-minis out of its nose. If the Octo-blooper is hit on the head three times it is defeated. This is a greater task than it seems – because the octo-blooper is always sub-merged.
