When on low health, Galleom will stomp around in a tantrum, and gain faster attacks.

|Rathalos is a giant wyvern which can fly, breath fire, and swipe using its poisonous claws. Rathalos also has the ability to roar loudly, dizzying the player. Rathalos' weak points are its tail and breaking through its hide, which may cause it to drop an item and become stunned respectively.

These Shadow Bugs combine to form Duon, fought as [[Fox McCloud|Fox]], [[Princess Peach|Peach]], [[Zelda]]/[[Sheik]], [[Lucario]], [[Solid Snake]], and [[Falco Lombardi|Falco]]. When it is defeated, it reforms into Mr. Game & Watch, who joins the effort to defeat the Subspace Army.

He chases after the group as they escape the floating island in Captain Falcon's ship. His attacks include fireballs, rushing at the player, and influencing the ship in various ways, such as forcing it downward and making it rock back and forth.
