Kooper's Shell is a blue shell that Kooper must wear in order to perform his attacks. It is stolen by Fuzzies during Chapter 1 of Paper Mario, along with the shells of many other Koopa Troopas.

When Mario first arrives in Koopa Village, he finds that the residents are panicking over the trouble the Fuzzies are causing. Kooper begs Mario to reclaim his shell from the Fuzzy in his house. If Mario accepts, he must chase the Fuzzy to the woods behind Kooper's house.

After catching the Fuzzy, Mario must guess which tree it is hiding in three times. The Fuzzy returns the shell and promises to "be good from now on. Maybe." Thankful, Kooper asks to accompany Mario on his adventure. As they return to the village, the Fuzzy attacks with three other Fuzzies. Mario and Kooper defeat the Fuzzies, who run off.
