Yellow Yoshies are a species Yoshies. In Super Mario World it had the ability to make mini-earthquakes and fall faster when eating any shell plus the shell power. In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island they're playable on every worlds mid-fortress. In Super Mario Sunshine you can turn a Yoshi yellow by making it eat a pear, or pineapple.
