Hunky Chunky (Kremlinous Crushum) is an ability learned by Chunky Kong in Donkey Kong 64. It is his Kong Barrel move, so it is fueled by the use of Crystal Coconuts. Hunky Chunky can be bought from Cranky's Lab for three Banana Bunch Coins, in as early as Frantic Factory. When jumping into a Chunky Barrel, Chunky becomes a lot larger. This way, he can fight some of the more powerful enemies, such as Dogadon during the second battle, or the Tomatoes. Hunky Chunky also allows Chunky to pick up large, heavy objects, such as the Worm's apple house in Fungi Forest. In Jungle Japes, Chunky can climb up thick palm trees while in this form, which is required to enter a Bonus Barrel above them. While Chunky is under his Hunky Chunky ability, all the pads and thin palm trees vanish, and the Tag Barrel becomes translucent. Chunky cannot use the ability in areas where it is not required, such as from walking into an entrance or when climbing up the cuckoo clock of Fungi Forest.
