Goop

Goop is slimy stuff that Mario had to clean with the help of FLUDD in Super Mario Sunshine. The goop was all left behind by Shadow Mario. The Magic Paintbrush can create the goop.

Goop appears in a lot of places in the game. Here's a list:

• The brown goop in Bianco Hills
• The pink goop in Noki Bay
• The black goop on the Blue Coin shack and Ricco Harbor
• The purple transparent goop on Noki Bay's water
• The gray transparent goop on Bianco Hills's lake
• The rainbow warp portal goop.
• The electric goop from the Manta Storm
• The red paint from Bowser Jr.
• The fire goop from the Chain Chomplets
• The yellow force fields
• The green slime in the top of Corona Mountain
• Goop Generators

The first three types make Mario slip and slide, but only hurt him one point of damae every three seconds he's on them. All the others except the rainbow and red paint hurt Mario on contact.

There are also goop enemies in the game like Goopy Piranha Plant and Swoopin' Stu. Goop also appears in Mario Power Tennis as an obstacle on the Delfino Plaza court, it can cause players to slip and slide around. The player must also clear away goop in a tic-tac-toe like mini-game called Tic-Tac-Glow.
